How eForgeo collects, uses and protects personal data under the GDPR.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for processing your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

2. What data we process

  • Contact and enquiry data you provide via the contact form or by email: name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
  • RFQ data you submit through the eForgeo application: technical drawings, specifications and related project information. (The application has its own processing terms; see {{ TODO: link to app privacy terms }}.)
  • Technical data collected automatically when you visit this site: IP address, browser type and pages visited, via server logs. {{ TODO: confirm logging / analytics scope }}.
  • To respond to your enquiry and provide quotes: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries).
  • To operate and secure the website: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • Where you have given consent (e.g. the contact-form consent checkbox): Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time.

4. Recipients

We share data with manufacturers and inspection partners only as necessary to process your enquiry or order, and with service providers (e.g. hosting) acting as processors under Art. 28 GDPR. {{ TODO: list processors / sub-processors }}.

5. International transfers

Processing may involve manufacturers located in Serbia and other countries outside the EEA. Where this occurs, transfers are safeguarded by appropriate mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses. {{ TODO: confirm transfer mechanism }}.

We retain enquiry and contract data only as long as necessary for the purposes above and to comply with statutory retention obligations. {{ TODO: retention periods }}.

7. Your rights
