How it works

Nearshoring should reduce your risk, not add a new unknown. The process below is designed so that you always know who is accountable, what has been checked, and what happens next. You keep one contract with eForgeo throughout.

1. Submit your RFQ

You send us what defines the part: technical drawings, 3D models (STEP or IGES), tolerances, materials, surface and finish requirements, target volumes and the lead time you need. The RFQ intake runs in the eForgeo portal so files are uploaded securely and everything stays in one place.

2. Feasibility review and quote

Before quoting, we review the part for manufacturability and flag anything that would drive cost or risk. We then source quotes from suppliers whose equipment and experience match the work, and return a consolidated quote with price, lead time and the quality-control scope included.

3. Supplier selection

We place the work with a vetted supplier: a shop operating a certified quality management system (ISO 9001 required) with the right capacity and process for your part. You are not matched to whoever is cheapest; you are matched to whoever can hold the specification repeatably.

4. First article and sign-off

Before a production run, the supplier produces a first article and a first-article inspection report (FAI) with dimensional records against your drawing. You approve the first article before the series proceeds, so surprises are caught on one part, not on a full batch.

5. Production and quality control

Production runs against the approved first article. A pre-shipment inspection is carried out before goods leave the factory, checking dimensions and workmanship against the agreed acceptance criteria. Where you require it, an independent third-party inspection can be added as a further layer of assurance.

6. Proof of origin, logistics and delivery

We arrange the export documentation, including proof of origin so that qualifying goods enter the EU duty-free under the Serbia-EU Stabilisation and Association Agreement, and coordinate road freight to your delivery address. One shipment, one invoice, one point of contact.

Throughout, you deal with eForgeo in English or German. The manufacturing happens in the Balkans; the relationship, the contract and the accountability sit with us.
